Do you wanna be Robinson (or Not)?

Image
In honor of my Mom, I ( Ethan Stranger ) will be doing a post based around her favorite Disney film of all time… ”Meet the Robinsons”. While I’ll admit, I’m not “a real big fan of this film” (not even sure if it’ll receive the live-action treatment, they were close to doing a sequel), it had its moments here & there (moments that only a person like mom can understand). So let’s get into reviewing this long-lost forgotten Disney Film, shall we? Fun fact : you should know (including my Mom) is that “Meet the Robinsons” was based on a children’s book known as “A Day with Wilbur Robinson” (published 6 years before I was born), written by the Wonderful William Joyce (whom I was big fans of his other works from my childhood, including Rolie Polie Olie & (Especially) George Shrinks). The Book (A Day with Wilbur Robinson) is completely different from the Meet the Robinsons film (for various wacky elements from the book were altered/added into the expanded version of the 2007 film - wh

Jokes on You… Joker

Today I (Ethan Stranger) will be doing a blog post review on the 2019 Joker Film , while many consider this film to be violent (even myself), but as an Asperger Person, I was able to find Joaquin Phoenix’s portrayal of the “Clown Prince of Crime” extremely relatable (such his tragic origin, his mental illness, how society treated him & all of that anger that he kept trying to hold back). When I 1st saw the teaser trailer for this movie all the way back in the spring of 2019, I thought it would’ve been impossible to do a “Joker-like Origin Movie” , for Joker has had a mysterious origin story throughout the comics (plus his real name was never revealed), plus can’t do a Joker film without “Harley Quinn & Batman” though I did enjoy listening to a darker version of  “Jimmy Durante's Smile” ), even so, I just had difficulty coping with “How this Joker Film was gonna fit into the DCEU” & how’s it really gonna pull it off. While other superhero films like “Deadpool & Venom

All About Zam: A Star Wars Story

A Continuation from “I’m Aurra Sing: A Star Wars Story & Hopes & Dreams: The Story of Oola”, today I (Ethan Stranger) will be doing my 3rd Star Wars-related Blog post (centering around the Jango Fett’s Mysterious Flare, Zam Wesell ). Zam Wesell may appear human, but she’s actually a shape-shifting alien (called a Clawdite within the Star Wars Universe ), which makes me wanna picture her doing battle against the Star Trek Changeling , Odo (picture, Right).   To be honest, I (Ethan Stranger) don’t know a whole lot about the history of Zam Wesell (just mainly her brief appearance/swift demise in Attack of the Clones & from the video game: S tar Wars: Bounty Hunters (which serves as a prequel to Attack of the Clones, including Jango & Zam meeting for the 1st time, check out this clip from the Bounty Hunters Video Game): Fast forwards towards the end of the game & here’s Jango Fett & Count Dooku discussing about the creation of the Clone Army itself (with Jango
