Shaping the Water…with Love

Image
Today I ( Ethan Stranger ) will be writing a review based around 2017’s The Shape of Water (a Film by Guillermo Del Toro) & I must say this is one interesting/twisted love story Del Toro crafted, as It’s often described as either an “ underwater version of Beauty & The Beast or The Del Toro Version of The Little Mermaid (with dark/twisted elements). So let’s get reviewing, shall we? Guillermo Del Toro’s Original Plan for The Shape of Water was supposed to be a “Romantic version of the Creature from the Black Lagoon” for Universal, but when those plans fell through , that wouldn’t stop Guillermo Del Toro from creating his vision of the Creature from the Black Lagoon ( which would, of course, be reshaped into “The Shape of Water”). Don’t hesitate to check out this link if you’re interested in the inspiration that the movie got from Black Lagoon: https://screenrant.com/the-shape-of-water-essentially-remade-creature-from-the-black-lagoon/ I have to admire the creative mind of

Daredevil & Batman: By Frank Miller

Once again, I ( Ethan Stranger ) return to the world of Comics as I discuss 2 characters ( Daredevil & Batman) who were reinvented by one guy (Frank Miller) around the time My Dad was young (even long before I came into the world), so in honor of both Frank Miller & My Dad (whose birthday is coming up), allow me ( Ethan Stranger ) to breakdown on what made these 2 characters great (that my Dad really enjoyed, who would then pass on his love of comics to me, Ethan Stranger ). Batman is a character that we can all relate to (mainly due to his tragic parent's death, his duties as a business/vigilante, which involves him in battling his inner demons), but when the so-called “Comics Code Authority”, Batman became from a dark Vigilante into more a tota

The Alliance: Aspergers & Politicians

Image
I know that I (Ethan Stranger) had said that “The Biden/Harris Era: a New Hope for America Post” would be my only political blog post, but I decided to bring this matter up, as so far (with other more important things that are happening throughout the world), I just wanna make sure that there is something being done about those with disabilities (like Autism, Aspergers, neurodevelopmental disorders, physical disabilities, etc ), as we can usually struggle to adapt and join society in itself as The worst thing about having Asperger’s (or any disability) is that no one sees how much we struggle in this continuing crazy game called…life.                                                                                                           While I understand that there’s already an autism rights movement, I feel that there is still a lot more to be done, not only in the US but in the world in general. Politicians should do more for the Asperger community (in general as
