What if…Star Wars Edition
It’s been a while since I’ve done a Star Wars-related Blog post and now I believe it’s time I return to the Galaxy that’s far far away…with some What if…scenarios and tales to tell, with Disney owning both Marvel Comics and Star Wars, I’ve always wondered on why, although Marvel Comics in the past have published Star Wars comics (Picture: Bottom Left Corner) and new ones with both properties under the House of Mouse’s roof (Picture: Bottom Right Corner), on why there hasn’t been a “Star WarsWhat if- Styled Comic Series”, as some much has happened within the Star Wars Universe and it’ll be perfect to do a What if Styled Comic based around that universe (plus could we get a Marvel/Star Wars Crossover within Comics)?
(Click to get an idea of a Star Wars/Marvel crossover)

So without further ado, allow me to give y’all some examples of several of what a Star Wars-What if Series would look like, by tackling some events within the original 6 episodes (hopefully it’ll inspire Marvel Comics to actually do a Star Wars-What if comics Series), they are:
Episode I: What if…Aurra Sing had raised Anakin Skywalker: Remember how briefly during the Clone Wars, Aurra Sing acted as a Motherly Mentor to the Young Boba Fett (Picture: Bottom Left Corner), however, imagine what would’ve happened if Aurra Sing found herself raising the young Anakin Skywalker (Aurra Sing was seen briefly watching the Pod race)
(Click here to Watch Aurra Sing’s Brief cameo within the Phantom Menace)
So the best way I can picture young Anakin Skywalker finding himself being raised by Aurra Sing is that (during the events of the Phantom Menace), Darth Maul attacks Qui-gon Jinn a bit earlier (around the moment when Anakin was saying goodbye to his mother), also Maul was accompanied by a small army of battle droids and droidekas. In the chaos, Anakin’s Mother was killed and C-3PO was destroyed (though Anakin managed to save his head), Qui-gon got distracted in dueling with Maul and young Anakin was snatched up by Aurra Sing, who attempted to ransom off to wherever Qui-gon Jinn’s crew was, however, Aurra Sing slowly began to warm up to Anakin, after just recently his mother was killed, he was freed from slavery and was about to become a Jedi, thus Aurra Sing manipulates Anakin that Jedi are not to be trusted (even though She herself was a Jedi once, Read more about that in my “I’m Aurra Sing: A Star Wars Story” post) and decides to teach young Anakin the ways of being a Bounty Hunter (as well as maybe bringing up her time as a Jedi before becoming a ruthless Jedi Killer herself), thus how would future events be played out with Anakin under Aurra Sing’s care (plus would she be a better motherly mentor to him than she was with Boba Fett)? I should let Jaime King answer this particular Star Wars What If...Scenario, she said she do anything for Star Wars (I remember asking that Star Wars question and that was her straightforwarded answer).

Episode II: What if…The Republic never had its Grand Army: Upon watching this clip from an old Star Wars Video game, it explaining on how Jango Fett was the Blueprint for the Clones
But what would’ve happened if Jango Fett literally turned down Count Dooku’s offer to have him cloned, which would’ve led to Dooku using force to capture Jango, who then escaped alongside Zam Wesell (read about her in my “All about Zam: A Star Wars Story” Post). Thus The Jedi would never have their grand clone army of the Republic and later the clones would be used as Darth Sidious's plot to eliminate the Jedi Race as a whole and remake the Republic into the 1st Galactic Empire. So perhaps (in this alternate universe), The Jedi would be forced to become more like soldiers (as well as rally other systems to their cause, thus the spark of the Rebellion would’ve happened much earlier than expected), but how would Darth Sidious achieve his plan to rule the galaxy without the clone army (even though it’s revealed that Stormtroopers are really just random citizens signing up for the empire’s cause), so maybe the concept of Stormtroopers is introduced much sooner than expected.
Oh, as for Jango Fett and Zam Wesell, they probably would’ve continued their lives as Bounty Hunters (but at a lower profile), they would’ve married and Boba Fett would’ve been slightly different, for he was born naturally (and having Shape-shifting abilities just like Zam Wesell).
Also, Jedi fighting a war without Clones reminds me of when SHIELD had to face down against Loki and the Asgardian forces in Marvel’s What if…Animated Series (though, learn about that event within my “Marvel’s What if…Episode 3” Post)
(Click to watch SHIELD vs Asgardians)
(Click here to listen more on the concept of the Clone Army was never created)
Episode III: What if…Obi-Wan didn’t kill General Grievous: Remember when General Grievous threw Kenobi over the edge before Kenobi kills Grievous himself with a blaster…
(Click here to refresh your memory on when Kenobi killed Grievous)
However, imagine what would’ve happened if Kenobi didn’t kill Grievous after being thrown over the edge, Grievous escapes back to his fortress (Located on the third moon of Vassek), but would later learn of the rise of the galactic empire, the death of the Jedi and the Separatists leaders and Sidious betraying him and threaten to kill if he dares to interferes, thus later on Grevious forms an uneasy alliance with Darth Maul and his Crimson Dawn in order to survive in a new galaxy, rule by a higher power (in exchange, Maul asks if Crimson Dawn can use Grievous’s Fortress as a new base of operation).
Episode IV: What if…C-3PO and R2-D2 became prisoners of the Empire: Remember when C-3PO and R2-D2 escaped to Tatooine with the Death Star Plans, thus later their encounter with Luke Skywalker would later kickstart an unlikely cast of characters that became the inspiration for the rebellion and then a family unlike any other…but in an alternate universe, both C-3PO and R2-D2 were captured by Stormtroopers before they even made it to an escaped Pod, thus when meeting with Darth Vader, it would be awkward (for C-3PO had his memory wiped), but would R2-D2 remember Anakin himself (despite now being Darth Vader)? Plus with the plans inside of R2-D2, how are these 2 droids gonna escape the empire and give the Death Star plans to the rebels, perhaps if C-3PO helps free Princess Leia, then she can help these 2 droids escape back to the rebels, but remember it was these 2 droids that helped Luke Skywalker find his true calling, but sadly that didn’t happen within this universe…
Episode V: What if…Luke Skywalker guided the Rebel Alliance to Dagobah: Imagine what would’ve happened if (not only Luke Skywalker), but the entire Rebel Alliance traveled with him to Dagobah, though establishing a New Rebel base on Dagobah would be difficult, due to its swampy conditions (just don’t expect Marvel’s Man-Thing (Picture: Bottom Center) to show up). Also, would Yoda himself even allow the Rebels to establish a new base on Dagobah (and would he even be of any help to the rebels). So how would the rest of the events in “The Empire Strikes Back” change had Luke Skywalker taken the Rebels (including his friends on the Millennium Falcon) to hide out on Dagobah, let’s hope this time the Rebels will be ready for the empire (in case they do manage to locate the Rebels on Dagobah and will Yoda help)...
Epsidoe: VI: What if…Luke Skywalker saved the Twi’lek Slave, Oola: Sometimes the tiniest change can cause an entirely new universe to form and tell a very different story, thus ask yourself…what sort of big impact would’ve happened had Luke Skywalker managed to save the Twi’lek Slave, Oola from getting eaten by Jabba the Hutt’s pet Rancor, would she simply go out on her own or maybe serve within the Rebel alliance (maybe she can show off some other useful skills that we haven’t seen yet, besides her good dancing skills) and (maybe) develop romantic feelings for Luke Skywalker himself (for he had saved her), could it really happen?
(click to watch Oola Dance, plus read more about her in my “Hopes and Dreams: The Story of Oola” post)
So that’s all my Star Wars What If…scenarios tales I (Ethan Stranger) to tell…for now, thus I encourage y’all to come up with your own Star Wars What if…scenarios tales (mostly based around the original 6 episodes), and then maybe I’ll consider doing another Star Wars What if…Related Post, maybe even doing a spin-off based around “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”, to be fair, The Star Wars Universe has a lot of potential for infinite possibilities to tell What if…scenarios tales (wonder why George Lucas never thought of this idea before)...

So until Disney decides to do a What if…Animated Series (or allows Marvel Comics to do a Star Wars What if…Comic Series), Ethan Stranger encourages y’all (including Jaime King and Femi Taylor) to ponder this one particular question, for those curious about the Multiverse:
