Kinda wish that my late dog (Chewie) were here to read this (read more on what happened to him in my “The Life of Chewie”), for he and I really shared a lot in common with the fictional adventurers, Tintin and Snowy (Picture: Top Center), which is why today I’ve finally decided to talk more about The Adventures of Tintin (as I’m still waiting on the sequel to the 2011 movie) or perhaps maybe they should just have Tintin rebooted into an animated series (for there’s potential for the character for the whole world to see)...    Tintin’s origin hails from Belugim from author Herge (Picture: Top Center) , though I have never been to Belgium before (I do dream about going there someday), I grew up with Tintin due to my Dad having this big collection of Tintin books that he had as a kid (even his sister also enjoyed the), so now he’s passed on that collection of Tintin Adventure books to me (and also my Dad’s sister’s Kids also grew up with Tintin), to be honest, I feel like I was the only o

  A bit of a spin-off from my “Joys of Juneau-related posts”, I ( Ethan Stranger ) will be talking more about my background, as a Peruvian-American who was born in Juneau and raised in the suburb area of Austin, TX , who has struggled with a culture clash, for I was born in 1 state, then moved to another while also having a bit of Peruvian background from my mom’s side of the family (even though my Spanish is minimal), thus I often question myself on “who am I really and also which state best suits me”. Plus, I was also inspired by the PBS Kids series, Molly of Denali (Picture: Bottom center) , to write on this post, for 1 of the characters really caught my eye, and also I was impressed with how the series succeeds in shedding up light on the more Native-American side of Alaska, while also exploring on the more modern side of things, so allow me to explain more on my “ Culture Clash situation ” and see if the cast of Molly of Denali will be impressed on what I have to say.
