Total Drama-WHAT???

Today I, Ethan Stranger, will be taking a break from Asperger-Related Topics and will be doing my 1st ever Commentary post. Some of you might know that I like to watch (and even create cartoons), comic strips, fan-fictions, short stories and many more.  I don't get surprised very often, but when I do, it’s usually in a “not so nice” kind of way.

The other day I was watching CN’s Total DramaRama and came across a very particular episode, some of you might’ve even watched it, it’s called “Total Eclipse of the Fart”, it centers around the DramaRama Kids befriending a creepy grown man-like fairy known as “The Fart Fairy” (yeah you heard me) and, as you might be guessing, it all goes downhill from there. At the end of the episode I was pretty grossed out and asked myself, “HOW THE %&$#?@ DID THIS SOMETHING LIKE GET APPROVED IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!”

What Could’ve been a cool/cheerful concept has now become something of a Gross-Out episode (for maybe they should’ve just stick with the DramaRama Kids trying to capture the Tooth Fairy) that whenever you watch the episode while eating, it’ll make you wanna throw-up, Even the “Grossology Series”, would’ve never display this level of Grossness (though they’ve could’ve, but display in a “not-so gross & creepy way”, better ask the showrunner of that series). This level of disgust should not be allowed on TV, while several children shows (nowadays) try to sneak a form of adult-humor, this is an example of what happens when creators/executives go too far, which is why they need to be more careful in what type of story theme they're trying to display  to avoid backlash (otherwise, an episode, nobody would wanna watch this no more).

To be honest (like most other viewers) Total DramaRama is a show that is often asked various questions, “Why does this even exist? Why is this a show?  Why are they infants (for this is a Spin-off of the original Total Drama Island Series)? Why do they know each other when there is tons of evidence that they only know each other because of a reality TV show?”, I may have one answer (in my opinion), this is obviously their ill-fated attempt in copying the success of other series that involve infants going on various misadventures “Like Rugrats, Tiny Toons, Muppet Babies & Many More”.
