The Legacy of Aurra Sing

It’s been far too long since I (Ethan Stranger) had done a Star Wars-related blog post, thus it’s better that I resume to that franchise ASAP, as well as bring forth a trilogy discussion about Star Wars’ most feared, dangerous, badass, (and dare I say beautiful) to an end, that’s right, I’m talking about Aurra Sing (following my previous posts on her, “I’m Aurra Sing: A Star Wars Story and The Book of Aurra Sing and Boba Fett). To be honest, I thought I was done writing about this character, but some encouragement from a “Special Friend of Mineinspired me to complete her trilogy full circle (so about around of applause for her and let's get this show on the road, shall we)?

Like the title says “The Legacy of Aurra Sing”, but I ask myself “What kind of Legacy did Aurra Sing leave behind”, before her unexpected “Push of Death”, at the hands of Tobias Beckett?  As I mentioned in past Aurra Sing-related posts, she was best known for “Brief Cameo in the Phantom Menace (Picture: Bottom Left Corner), acted as a Motherly Mentor to a young Boba Fett (Picture: Bottom Center), and nearly assassinated Senator Padme Amidala, while donning a black jumpsuit (Picture: Bottom Right Corner)”, but would later resume her original orange jumpsuit when she worked alongside Cad Bane to free Ziro the Hutt (Aurra Sing must've known that “Orange is the New Black”), also I wonder if she ran into Young Boba Fett while in prison after failing to kill Padme?

(Click on the link above to learn about “What if…Aurra Sing did kill Senator Padme Amidala”)

Despite her several accomplishments during the Clone Wars (as well as her brief appearance in the Phantom Menace), she still doesn’t get the attention that many other Star Wars-related posts (Especially the new characters from the new Disney Trilogy or from Disney's Star Wars Series), yet I’m quite surprised on how (in the Book of Boba Fett Series), Aurra Sing wasn’t either seen in flashbacks or mentioned on the series (She was Boba Fett’s Mother Mentor, how could they completely ignore that)?

Judging by the direction Disney is going with Star Wars (which is forward), I have high doubts Aurra Sing will return (even though there’s a strong fanbase for this Badass), Disney would want a very good reason wanted to bring Aurra Sing back into the light (which also mean bring her back from the dead after Tobias Beckett “pushed her”). If Disney ever read any of the Star Wars Dark Horse comics, then perhaps they would better understand the character, Aurra Sing herself was once a Jedi (Picture: Bottom Left Corner) before becoming a Bounty Hunter (who sometimes Jedi fear), even had a lightsaber duel with Aayla Secura (Picture: Top Center), thus Aurra Sing’s rivalry with Jedi goes deeper than Avenging Jango Fett.

Perhaps like all Aurra Sing Fans out there, were shocked when she met her unseen/unexpected demise at the hands of Tobias Beckett (who literally pushed her, but the so-called fall killed her), and I ask, “who does die with a simple push and how could the most feared, dangerous, badass, (and dare I say beautiful) Bounty Hunter dies at the hands of his lowlife (like Tobias Beckett)”, did he like manipulate her into getting drunk and then “pushed her” (the bigger question is, where did this all take place actually)? Zam Wesell’s death by Jango Fett himself was a big sadder, Read more about her in my “All About Zam Post”

(and I thought Buterscoth Horseman's Death was “cheap”, like Bojack said, “who dies in a duel”?)

(Click on the link to learn more on Butterscoth’s Death, read about him in my “The Horse that Couldn't be Broken” Post)

To be fair, there might be a ray of hope for Aurra Sing, My Special Friend of Mine has reason to believe that Aurra Sing is “still alive” (but the big question is, to my Friend, how did she survive, where’s she been, etc.), I myself would like to believe that Aurra Sing is alive too, I mean, if Marvel Comics can bring back Bucky Barnes (as the Winter Soldier), then Star Wars should do the same with Aurra Sing (Especially with various Star Wars projects on the Horzion, like with “Tales of the Jedi, The Lando Series and the possibly for Season 2 of The Book Boba Fett”, any of those (in my opinion) would be an ideal place for Aurra Sing to appear, afterall, like her motto goes “A Girls got to make a living (Picture: Bottom Left Corner)”, plus According to Aurra Sing Voice Actress, Jaime King (Picture: Bottom Right Corner) admits that “She’ll do anything for Star Wars” (the way that sounds remains me of though klondike bar commercials), the way she saids “she’ll do anything for Star Wars”, wonder if that means she’ll rip a page from She-Hulk’s books, by literally “breaking the 4th Wall (Picture: Bottom Center), does any Aurra Sing fan out there (besides me and my friend) can picture Aurra Sing herself breaking the 4th wall like She-Hulk (after all, A Girls got to make a living, no matter what universe).

Also, what Star Wars should consider doing in the future (as a possible new animated series) is exploring more of “the Concept of the Multiverse”, Marvel released their animated What if…Series on Disney+, perhaps now Disney should consider doing the same with Star Wars (start it off as a comic series and then do an animated series based around it), as there are so many possible Star Wars-styled What If…kind of stories to tell (and Aurra Sing can be in one of those stories).

As I previously mentioned in my “The Book of Aurra Sing and Boba Fett” post, about here is a “Star Wars Multiversal Bounty Hunter Hotline-styled service, made up of Alternate Aurra Sing’s and other Boutny Hunters (Dubbed: Aurra Sing Services)”, well out there (within Today’s Society), 2 out of the 3 Aurra Sing’s that see (Pictures: Above) “kind-of” exist there’s the Cosplay Aurra Sing (who I believe retired, unless for birthday parties) and the Jaime King Aurra Sing (who only exists with the Clone Wars series, though Jaime King does act like Aurra Sing, within in a way, as Rose from Netflix’s Black Summer (Great Zombie Series, I highly recommend watching it)

If a Star Wars What if…Series were to happen, then perhaps there should be a special episode that features “Aurra Sing and Zam Wesell (Picture: Top Left Corner) teaming up (as I don’t believe that those two teamed up in the Dark Horse Comics (despite they both knew Jango Fett), if that particular episode becomes popular, it could spin-off into a series of its own (similar to that Harley Quinn Animated Series), thus Aurra Sing and Zam Wesell can be like the Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy (Picture: Top Right Corner) of the Star Wars Series (of course, it’ll be separate from the main SW timeline).

(How's this song for the opening theme for a possible Aurra Sing/Zam Wesell Series)

So until Disney finds a way to keep the legacy of Aurra Sing alive or the release of a Star Wars What if…Series

Ethan Stranger signs off…while playing some music as Aurra Sing rides off rapidly into the sunset

P.S. I (Ethan Stranger) am also one of those fans who likes to “predicate fan casting”, so who out there thinks that Aurra Sing’s Voice Actress (Jaime King) would be perfect to portray Diamondback (Rachel Leighton), either in live-action or voice her in a future Marvel animated Series, read more about her in both my “Diamondback in the Rough: The Rachel Leighton Story & Captain America: by Mark Gruenwald”, to be honest, I wish she would’ve been Aurra Sing’s mentor, especially when it comes to turning over a new leaf.
