Marvel’s What if…Episode 9
This is it, Folks, I can’t believe that I’ve finally managed to complete my reviews for the 1st season of Marvel’s animated What if…Series (though just wait until season 2, I know for a fact, the universes the Watcher will explore various other universes within the Multiverses), shame we never saw that “Sakaarian Iron Man episode” (luckily it’ll be shown within Season 2).
(Click here to watch Sakaarian Iron Man)
As for the big finale, it mainly featured the Watcher recruiting his forces to combat the “infinite Ultron”, to be fair (had it not been for COVID), we could’ve gotten about 26 episodes for the 1st season (including that lost episode that featured Sakaarian Iron Man and Gamora). To be fair, it was fun seeing all of these alternate heroes meeting each other for the 1st time (highly doubt it’ll be the last), as I’m sure with the upcoming new Avengers (like Kang Dystany and Secret Wars), we’ll see variant versions of the “Guardians of the Multiverse (Picture: Bottom Center)” assemble (besides it’ll be fun to see Marvel Characters (who weren’t connected to the MCU before) find their way into the MCU (like what happened “Spider-Man: No Way Home”), and now there are rumors of Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man returning for Avengers: Secret Wars and (maybe) Ben Affleck’s Daredevil also returning for Avengers: Secret Wars too.
So far, the only Guardians of the Multiverse member to get the live-action is Captain Carter (Picture: Bottom Center) where she’s a member of the Illuminati in Dr. Strange: in the Multiverse of Madness (though who thinks it was just too soon to introduce her intot he world of Live-Action, especially since she dies in the Multiverse of Madness, but there are other variants of her), thus makes me wonder of what became of the Steve Rogers/Captain America of this Captain Carter’s universe?
Shame that in the home universe where Killmonger comes from, they’ll never know what happened to him (especially since he kickstarted a war against Wakanda and the USA), wonder how his main MCU counterpart would’ve reacted to that (as he was trying to do the same)?
(Click here to watch the Watcher recruit Killmonger)
However, the Guardians of the Multiverse manage to defeat the infinite Ultron before getting betrayed by Killmonger himself (though he did offer his teammates a chance to use the infinity stone's powers to fix their worlds, if I was in that same situation, where somebody offered me a chance to use unlimited power to fix my life, I would be in a pickle, even if it came down to see my Grandpa alive again…or finally getting a proper happily ever after like some of my neurotypical friends (My cousin is dating a captain caveman)...

Thus when the dust settles, every guardian member returns back to their respective universe, though there is Black Widow (whose universe has been destroyed by Infinite Ultron), she makes a point to the Watcher, mentioning how he “sat back and made popcorn while Ultron destroyed her universe and how he can’t truly fix her world”, makes me wonder if sometimes the lord Almighty deals with people like that, on how we pray to him and sometimes he can’t respond to all prayers (he tries though)...

But thankfully, The Watcher does reward Black Widow with a new home (the Lord Almighty can do the same, either with me seeing my Grandpa well again or me getting a proper happily ever after), but as the Watcher would put it “All Creatures searching for a place to belong, to call home”, that’s what everybody (in general) is trying to do, to find their rightful place in this crazy game called…life.

(Can’t wait for S2, hopefully, we don’t have to worry about Zola and Killmonger ever again…)
What if…(Black Widow) Scenario-based Stories:
the part of the blog where I talk about various other Multiversal possibilities concepts within the animated series (who knows, maybe these tales could either be made into actual comics or episodes for the animated series), and remember…anything is possible in a multiverse (thus allows us to get creative in a twisted way).
What if…Black Widow gained Spider-like Abilities: Imagine what would’ve happened if, during the events of the 2021s Black Widow movie (which was a continuation of the events of 2016s Captain America: Civil War), both Iron Man and Spider-Man were involved with Black Widow’s situation during the events of 2021 film, as several other black widow spies were observing the hero civil war play out in Germany and have been impressing with the “So-called Spider-Man”, the other black widows (including Natasha’s sister, Yelena Belova) decide to kidnap him, to run tests on him in attempt to create an army of spider-powered Black widows. After learning that Spider-Man has been kidnap, both Black Widow and Iron Man team up where Iron Man learns of Natasha’s secret family/life (something that Cap himself doesn’t know). During the rescue mission, Black Widow gets injured and Yelena Belova (free from the red room’s control) injects her with an unfinished super-solider formula (mixed with some of Spider-Man’s DNA), thus granting Black Widow with Spider-Man based powers. After bringing down the red room, Black Widow (with her newfound Spider-based powers) lays low with Peter Parker and his Aunt May (even Yelena Belova), though how could this affect Black Widow’s partnership with Cap and Falcon, could Balck Widow (now with Spider-based abilities) sign the Sokovia Accords, if so how will that affect Spider-Man himself (since Tony Stark never made him sign the Sokovia Accords)...
What if…Black Widow became the Wasp: This is set in an alternate MCU universe where it’s Hank Pym (not Janet Van Dyne) who shrunk down to the Quantum Realm and was presumed dead for decades while stopping a missile. Years later, an older Janet Van Dyne (still operating as the Wasp) ran into conflict with Black Widow and manages to break her free of the Red Room’s control and trains her to become the new Wasp. This Alternate universe could also feature several lesser-known “Ant-Man villains (that work for the Red Room) like Comrade X (Nina Vladimirovna Tsiolkovsky), Madam Macabre, and Rita DeMara (Picture: Bottom Left Corner)” and reintroduce Hope Van Dyne as Nadia Van Dyne (Picture: Bottom Center), as (within the comics) her mother is Maria Trovaya Pym (Picture: Bottom Right Corner), thus, this alternate MCU universe could explore mixing the events of 2015s Ant-Man (though featuring the wasp) and 2021s Black Widow into one big movie.
What if…Black Widow killed Captain America: This is set in an alternate MCU universe where (during the events of 2014s Captain America: The Winter Solider), where Cap and Widow are on the run from HYDRA (who have successfully taken over SHIELD), however, it’s revealed that HYDRA has ties to the Red Room and that the Black Widow each has a special mind control program deceive that activates unpredictably, thus while still on the run, Cap is eventually forced to battle a mind controlled Black Widow (who ends up killing her), however her father (The Red Guardian) manages to free her and her sister (Yelena Belova) from the Red Room’s brainwashing, haven killed his best friend, perhaps this version of Black Widow takes on the mantle of Captain America and later leads an army of Black Widows (free from the Red Rooms Control) against the forces of HYDRA (who’s Project: Insight has successfully launched)...
What if…Black Widow became She-Hulk: This is set in an alternate MCU universe where (during the events of 2012s Avengers), Black Widow gets injured in battle, thus receives a special blood transfusion from Bruce Banner (Hulk), thus later on Black Widow transforms into a She-Hulk (Picture: Bottom Center), could a “Black Widow She-Hulk” break the 4th Wall (like Jennifer Walters She-Hulk)? Plus this alternate MCU reality could feature the Leader (Samuel Sterns) allying himself with the Red Room to create an army of Black Widow She-Hulks, which leads to “Black Widow She-Hulk” herself getting captured (alongside Hulk) and the Avengers getting into conflicted with this Gamma radiation-based situation (plus will this alternate MCU universe feature an alternate Jennifer Walters’ She-Hulk or no)?
What if…Black Widow married Hawkeye: This is set in an alternate MCU universe where already both Black Widow and Hawkeye are a couple (Pictures: Bottom Center), how would their romance affect their personal lives and their roles as members of the Avengers?
So who else wants to share there What if…Scenario-Based Stories (Based on Black Widow-related)
