What If...Star Wars Edition: Episode II

You thought the story was over…but it was only the beginning (you gotta check out my 1st What If...Star Wars Edition post to get caught up) and as I (Ethan Stranger) continue waiting for the premiere of S2 of Marvel’s animated what if…Series, I’ve decided to do another Star Wars: What if…Post, same as before, mostly focusing on events within the original 6 episodes (for I feel like there are still more What if…Scenarios to tell), but don’t worry, I’ll tackle other What if…Scenarios within other parts of the Star Wars universe, plus check out this Youtube series, as there are several examples of various Star Wars: What if…Scenarios to show and tell:

So without further ado, allow me to give y’all some examples of several of what a Star Wars-What if Series would look like, again tackling some events within the original 6 episodes (hopefully it’ll inspire Marvel Comics to actually do a Star Wars-What if comics Series), they are:

Episode 1: What if…Darth Maul had kidnapped Young Anakin Skywalker: Imagine what would’ve happened had Darth maul kidnapped Young Anakin Skywalker (just as he and Master Qui Gon were about to leave Tatooine). Could Maul originally attempt to ransom Anakin to the Jedi, but then later deliver him to his master (Darth Sidious), who would then teach Young Anakin the ways of the Dark Side, thus making Anakin Darth Vader much quicker, how could that affect the future events (where Anakin never truly falls in with Padme Amidala).

Perhaps also within this alternate universe, Maul kills Kenobi, Qui Gon-Jinn kills Maul and perhaps Dooku (Picture: Bottom Center) never turns to the Darkside and aids his former padawan (Qui Gon-Jinn) in coping with the loss of his padawan (Obi-Wan Kenobi)

Episode II: What if…Aurra Sing Killed Padme Amidala: After watching this:

Apparently, it’s revealed that Aurra Sing was gonna appear in “Attack of the Clones”, but didn’t (especially since she had a small cameo in the “Phantom Menace”), but had she shown up in Attack of the Clones, what role would she played…perhaps to aid both Jango Fett and Zam Wesell (read more about her in my “All About Zam: A Star Wars Story” Post) in killing Padme Amidala, in fact during the Clones Wars, Aurra Sing was hired by Ziro the Hutt to kill Padme, there's even a What if…Video-based on that concept:

However, had Aurra Sing (with the help of Jango and Zam) killed Padme during Attack of the Clones (especially with no Ahsoka Tano to save her), how would that change such future events (perhaps Anakin would’ve fallen more quickly to the Dark Side, as he’s now on a vengeful quest to kill Aurra Sing for killing Padme and how would Aurra Sing prepare for that)?

(Click here to witness Aurra Sing attempt to kill both Ahsoka and Padme)

(After All…A girl’s got to make a living, that should be Jaime King’s permanent catchphrase)

Episode III:  What if…Grievous saved Dooku?: So remember when Anakin chopped off Dooku’s head (you can watch the full battle scene):

But imagine what would’ve happened had General Grievous shown up to save Dooku before Anakin killed him, how would that have changed the events within Revenge of the Sith? Probably both Grevious and Dooku (now with mechanic hands) would go into hiding and maybe try to form an alliance with Darth Maul and his Crimson Dawn (Picture: Top Right Corner) to battle against the rising Empire.

Episode IV: What if…Han Solo and Chewbacca blew up the Death Star: This alternate universe could also be shown Han Solo and Chewbacca joining up the fight from the beginning (where originally he and Chewie at the last minute, just as Darth Vader was about to kill Luke Skywalker), Plus, not only would this alternate universe show up Han Solo and Chewbacca being the ones who blow up the Death Star, but also probably doing it in a very sacrificing way. Had these 2 sacrificed themselves in blowing up the Death Star, how would that change events?

Episode V: What if…The Rebels were hiding out in Cloud City: Imagine if in an alternate universe (at the beginning of “The Empire Strikes Back”), The Rebels’ hiding spot was within Bespin’s Cloud City (instead of the Planet, Hoth), then once the empire learns of the Rebels hiding location, how would the battle of Cloud City look like and how could this change events (as most of the ending happened on Cloud City in the original timeline of Empire Strikes Back)...

Episode VI: What if…Luke Skywalker turned to the Dark Side: Imagine what would’ve happened had Darth Sidious into turning Luke Skywalker over to the Dark Side and really killed Darth Vader (this is really Sidious thing, he manipulates the young into joining his cause and then once they’re old, he lets the young kill the old and thus, a newer/younger sith lord serves under Darth Sidious, thus the cycle continues). So how would events happen with Luke Skywalker had turned to the Dark Side?

So that’s all my Star Wars What if…scenarios tales I (Ethan Stranger) to tell…for now, thus I encourage y’all to come up with your own Star Wars What if…scenarios tales (mostly based around the original 6 episodes), but sometime in the future, I would dive deeper into other Star Wars shows, exploring what sort of What if…scenarios can be told and then maybe I’ll consider doing another Star Wars What if…Related Post based around that concept, even doing a spin-off based around “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”, to be fair, The Star Wars Universe has a lot of potential for infinite possibilities to tell What if…scenarios tales (wonder why George Lucas never thought of this idea before)...

So until Disney decides to do a What if…Animated Series (or allows Marvel Comics to do a Star Wars What if…Comic Series), Ethan Stranger encourages y’all to ponder this one particular question, for those curious about the Multiverse:

So Far…Aurra Sing and Zam Wesell have climbed aboard, who’s next?
